A quiet little hello to you!
Thank you for meeting me along my way, and for supporting my music-making this year. What a beautiful year – 2015, a beautiful riot of color and travel. I gasped, shocked to see the intensity of the stars, and feel the quiet darkness on my mother’s farm in Vermont. I just last week finished a choral piece called “I Have A Voice” for 40 ACDA-member choirs, and I’m ready to take on more and more composing commissions – loving the creative responsibility of writing for others. It has been, and continues to be a joy to tour with tUnE-yArDs, SOLAS, moira smiley & VOCO, and Jayme Stone’s Lomax Project. There is nothing like the visceral connection of a live show – I love the surrender and sweat of it.

I’m doing two little solo shows in London, UK Jan. 24 ( Darkly Artful) & 27 (The Nest Collective )Recording more solo things: Keeping that mysterious for a little longer! So proud to be part of SOLAS’s new (devastatingly beautiful) album called “ All These Years” (out Feb. 2016) SOLAS and Jayme Stone’s LOMAX PROJECT are on tour fire this Spring & Summer – probably near you! moira smiley & VOCO will be in the midwest this April, and Pacific NW this summer. Though I’m keeping it pretty low while touring with these other projects, the VOCO flame is still definitely alight!
