‘SINGING THE RHIZOME’ COMMUNITY CHOIR SESSION!
I am overjoyed to be offering Western Vermont Community Choir for 7 consecutive Wednesdays, 7:00pm-8:30pm at Waterbury’s Gallery & Music Hall, The Phoenix …April 24th-June 5th.
Join me in building a vibrant singing community by ‘singing the rhizome’! I’ll guide us in collectively learning, singing and arranging songs of core importance to each of us. I think of a choir as a rhizome structure – like aspens – and I look forward to discovering how our song roots fit together. This Spring session seems a perfect time to explore our musical rhizome and sing it awake!
Participation fee: $115 (7 week session)
Community Choir: all welcome, learn-by-ear and/or reading. Limit of 40 people. Two of our evenings are public events featuring the community choir and the Rhizome Quartet. May 22nd Rhizome Album Release + Singalong (w/Rhizome String Quartet) and June 5th Sharing Our Song Rhizome.
