Found sounds and improvisations for dance theatre.
Songs for masked choir, soloists and percussion.
Following the Navajo story of Changing Woman, this piece invokes the masked singing of the Hopi Kachina dancers, echoes, crystalline, dark landscapes, the over-abundance of summer in its heat, childs-play, and the words we speak in our spiritual longing – especially at times of transformation.
The snake is the symbol of change.

Commissioned by Gash-Voigt Dance Theater, St. Louis, MO.
